ask ko lng kung okey ba yung manila-baguio-sagada route?? hindi ba hassle? di ba masakit sa likod or mainit since ordinary nga yung bus please help.. parang yun lang kasi ang route na pwede umalis ng umaga.. kasi sa ibang liners like autobus, florida, or cable tours panay pang gabi ang alis nila.. please help

September 22, 2008 at 5:12 PM

hello chendee, nope its not a hassle.. very easy ang pag byahe papunta dun. di un masakit sa likod.. ammm very okay naman upuan nila. and its not mainit kase your will be traveling at an average altitude of 5000 feet above see level. meaning malamig na un.. u will need a jacket by the way..

hi meron ka ba program/advise of travel for those who are bringing their own car/van?

November 11, 2008 at 11:00 PM

@anonymous.. good question.. i appreciate that.. very..

anyway, what i can only advice for now is to hire a tourist guide for a day tour package, where in, he will take you anywhere you want to go for 1 day.. with you having your vehicle, you will maximize your tour..

Hi,
I've been to Sagada last april 2007. We jz had our car, hassle pag first timer lalo na sa halsema. Ask ko lng, is halsema as rough as before? Or paved na sya?My team are planning to go there and leave on April 3rd mga 7pm pra pagdating ng Sagada morning na.Also, fully booked na pala sa Residential Lodge at George GH. Can you suggest a place to stay where rooms are private with hot and cold shower? We might come less than 10 but not lower than 5. Gareth nga pala is not available for the whole day tour. Can you suggest someone who can assist us? We need a tour guide until we get to Kiltepan and Bomod-ok on our 3rd day. How much ang tour good for less than 10pax?Sana wag masyadong mahal ha? :) If you have any lodging referral that we can book for april 4 lang overnight, please text me naman at 09162446110 / 09228338977. Thanks much.I'll wait for your advice. ;)

How far po is Victory Liner (Baguio) from Dangwa terminal?

Thank you so much!

August 3, 2009 at 1:16 AM

Hi Anonymous, if you are referring to the new Victory Liner Terminal, that would be 20-25 minute walk to Dangwa Terminal. From the old Terminal, 15 minute walk only. If you are carrying a lot of bags, it would be better to catch a taxi. Mura lang ang bayad sa taxi, siguro P45-50 only. Mabilis pa, 5 minutes lang. :)

we are planning to visit sagada this july. we prefer mla-banaue-bonto-sagada route because we want to see the majestic rice terraces of banaue. just take some photos and go straight to sagada.

I just want to ask if during the trip, it will be enough to just make some stops along the road to take photos or we need to do trekking to see banaue rice terraces?

Our family went to Sagada via Baguio last May 13 and came back on the 16th. Our cousin's family took the Manila-Banaue-Bontoc on Cable Tours. It was indeed a long trip, we left San Fernando, Pampanga on Victory Liner at 6AM and reach Baguio at 11AM. Found our way for lunch and one of us made a quick trip to the bus station for Sagada to secure our tickets at hand (we're ten in the group). The bus left at 1PM(last trip) and made two scheduled stops along the way for a quick snack and toilet visit. Reached Sagada at 7PM, in time for a delicious dinner. The return trip was at 11AM which is not a scheduled one and reached Bagiuo at 5PM but could not get a seat because it was a Sunday and the Victory Bus staion was full to a capacity. We opted for a 12:30AM (May 17th)trip via Angeles City.

hmm.. i wonder if theres Baguio-Bontoc route?

Yes there is! from baguio, take a cab to the Rising Sun Bus terminal, located at the slaughter house at magsaysay road.

other buses going to baguio would be Dangwa trans too, and Lizardo has other schedules for bontoc.

Hi! my friend and i are going to sagada by ourselves. is it okay if we just explore the place by ourselves and don't hire a tourist guide? we're really on a tight budget. :P can we explore the caves, hanging coffins, etc without any guide? a million thanks!

well, it is okay to visit some places by your selves, however. you cannot enter the cave without a guide.. it's just too risky.
there is no law against you exploring the town but the community would be your problem.
for example, Bomod-ok Falls trek, you cannot go there by your selves, you will be required to get a guide for the matter of security.
The cave is a dangerous place for a non professional caver.. if you want to go there by yourselves, you can visit the entrance only.
The following are the places you can visit by your selves:
1. bokong falls
2. lake danum
3. kiltepan peak
4. demang village
5. cave entrances

January 8, 2011 at 12:16 AM

Hi,My fiancee and is are aplanning to to there in sagada this coming feb. is there any near airpot there aside Baguio? How about in Cauayan Airport? is that close going to bantoc- banaue- sagada? how many hours to take, to get there? is there any van or any vehicles that that we can rent for me and my fiancee including the tourguide?.. how much po and tour good for 2 person? for 2 days po? is there any place we can stay in sagada? for 2 days?

Cauayan is not that close, and public access from there to sagada is complicated. Baguio is still the best way to go. 6 hours.

when in sagada, the guide can arrange the vehicle for you. or if you want, you can rent a van with a driver from baguio to sagada and back.

for the lodging, there are so many places to choose from :)

we'll di naman rough road ung kalsada, meron lang konteng un cemented path na paakyat ng sagada around 8kms siguro un. kung di kayo sigurado sa pag drive, i guess okay na rin mag bus.

we were their last week with my family and i was very disappointed how a member of Sagada Genuine Guide Association treated us... This guy named Boy Gusto or known as Boy Diablo harassed us because we did not avail of their services. what we did was just stroll around Sagada since my kids did not want to visit any of the caves. what they wanted was just to feel the cold weather which we enjoyed.. while we were inside on one of the souvenir shop, Boy Diablo went inside and ask who was the owner of the vehicle parked outside and after knowing that it was mine with a high tone he instructed me to remove my vehicle and parked it somewhere because they have a foreigner customer who wanted to parked his vehicle on the parking space where i parked my vehicle..being a nice and disciplined military officer and since i was with my family, we immediately leave the place and look for other place to buy souveiners..nakakasama lang ng loob. i was expecting the Sagada people to be friendly only to find out its the opposite.. how i wished Boy Diablo will visit Manila so i can show him how hospitable we military men are.. anyway im planning to visit Sagada again and i will get the personal services of Boy Diablo.,... wala pa atang pinatay na Sagada tour guide sa loob ng Sumaguing cave di ba ... hehehe

I was about to sympathize with you sir but i din't.
Although you are a military officer, your threat does not affect us here in Sagada.

You are no different than boy.

By the way, i knew boy shouting during traffic, that's how he is. he was merely doing his job, to ease the traffic jam, especially that it was tourist season.
Manila or Sagada, just the same, some are hospitable, some are not, you were just unfortunate.
With regards to that threat of yours, why on earth did you choose sumaging for your dark plans, how on earth can you get away w/ it?

You say you are a military officer, you are just mean and rude. show your worth defending our territory from the chinese.

haha, are you trying to tell us something or trying to show who you are... we can take care of Boy Diablo whoever he is but the way you talk, I say, we take your challenge...

Military -???? You're a shame to your people...

Hi meron pa po bang Manila to Banaue route na Bus?

December 6, 2013 at 6:40 AM

hi we are planning to go to sagada on jan2-jan4 after my dad wants to see banaue rice terreces could you suggest which route to take going home from sagada just to see the view thanks

So that you see the Rice Terraces, make your way to the Service road from Bulacan to Nueva Ecija, then Neuva Vizcaya, and finally Banaue. or
Use the Nlex, to Slex then turn to the Exit at Nueva Ecija, you will come out at Cabanatuan i think, from there, follow the main road to vizcaya then banaue, 3 hours from banaue is Sagada.
